Welcome to the official Baekyeol exchange! We are very proud to say that as a community, we had nearly 400 prompts submitted within the last month for BAE2017! Thank you so much to all who participated and submitted! If you forgot the deadline and were not able to submit one, that's okay! It's the thought that counts as well! Summary: Most of the people his age had already given up their mermaid dreams, but Chanyeol had always been different. He had been claimed and branded by the ocean when he was barely a child, and had known since then that all the sailor tales were real. He survived the storm, and he grew stronger, and he knew the chance would come sooner or later to capture his own mermaid and make it cry its pearly tears for him. Little did he know that his chance would present itself in the shape of a silver haired boy, with eyes as black as the starless sky and the spirit of the tempest in his heart.
Author's Note: I’ve been working in this fic for so long that I can’t believe it is over now, and I really hope all of you will enjoy it! I would really thank my prompter for the wonderful idea. I actually joined the fest because I wanted to write this one *laughs* I am also very, very thankful to my beta, who diligently looked through all this monsterfic and corrected all my typos (there were many!). I’m very grateful to my friend I as well, because she was the first one who read this thing, and I know I wouldn’t have been able to finish on time without her cheers and advice; and also to BM, MA, D and all the other friends who helped me through this story. And lastly, of course, I’d like to thank the BAE mods for their patience and hard work. This story is for you all, I hope you like it!
