beta volunteers for
bacon & eggs
Submissions are due April 13th, so the writers looking for beta help will be needing it for/in the next four months. Baeconandeggs are looking for committed people who would like to help the writers in our community. If you are interested and you love to read fan fics, please think about signing up! We would very much appreciate your help!
Why be a beta-reader?
Beta-readers are a very important part of every writer's journey. Sometimes, they are more than just people who spell-check stories. More often than not, they are involved in the writing process. Writers often need support when writing so they'll consult and ask their beloved betas questions, testing out ideas and scenes that they might write. What may start out as a simple agreement to become a beta may end up being the start of a warm, supportive friendship!
Volunteers will be assigned!
Unlike in the last 2 rounds, writers will not have to find their own beta amongst the comments. To better organize the writing fest, beta volunteers will be assigned a writer who has requested help (via email) by the BAE mods.

Anything else you want to say?: I've wanted to beta for someone for ages - I've read a lot of fics and there were often a lot of mistakes that would've been really easy to fix (like grammar, really weird descriptions, overusing and misusing epithets). I'm not really a someone who's good at cheering on people but I promise I'll try my best to be nice and supportive!
